As owners of a charter company for nearly 20 years, we have often told our charter customers, "you can cruise with us time after time and never cross your own wake!". Fort Myers is located 150 miles south of Tampa on Florida's west coast. From the cruising yachtsman's perspective, few areas in the world offer the quality and variety of cruising options as Southwest Florida. Florida's "West Coast", from a cruising perspective is the 220 mile stretch from Flamingo, at the state's southern tip and in the heart of the Everglades, north to theFamily at Florida Beach bustling metropolis of Tampa. And Fort Myers is ideally located in the heart of the islands and inlets which encompass Southwest Florida. From our backyard barrier islands of Sanibel and Captiva, south to the quiet solitude of the Everglades and the "10,000 islands", north to the cultural center of Sarasota and the commercial port of Tampa Bay, or east through the sawgrasses and citrus groves of the Okeechobee Waterway which winds through Florida's heartland, Fort Myers is located at the area's cruising epicenter. From here, the Florida Keys lie 120 miles to the south, the Okeechobee Waterway extends 120 miles to Stuart on Florida's east coast, and Tampa Bay sits to our north yes, 120 miles away! What could be a better place than Fort Myers to begin your cruise through Paradise.

Rated by CRUISING WORLD Magazine as the number one chartering destination in the U.S., and number three in the world, Southwest Florida is truly at the "hub" of the wheel of Southern cruising. Whether you prefer the "Ritz" or the remote, dining ashore or afloat, shelling orManatee art sightseeing, we have it all Now let's take an armchair cruise through beautiful Southwest Florida. Welcome aboard!

Fort Myers sprawls along the banks of the Caloosahatchee ( meaning "river of the Calusa" Indians), twelve miles upriver from the Gulf of Mexico. The River is part of the Okeechobee Waterway, which begins at Stuart, on Florida's east coast. The estates of both Thomas Edison and Henry Ford in downtown Fort Myers are just two of the shoreside attractions for the cruising tourist. Beautiful riverfront homes and a variety of marina facilities, including the City Yacht Basin, make a cruise up the River quite relaxing, with both interesting and convenient stops along the way. If you are lucky, you might even have a pair of "wake-dancing" dolphins escort you on this delightful sojourn.
